SBH radiators are manufactured from 100% stainless steel (Grade 304).They will not rust or corrode. They are pressure tested with air to 10bars under water. Stainless steel has the major advantage of being totally impervious to water, therefore enabling its use in any domestic heating system, both direct/open or indirect/closed. Stainless steel has an extremely durable surface, so it will with stand a high degree of wear and tear.
Finishes
The SBH range is available in polished stainless steel as standard. All radiators in the SBH range are also available in powder coated white (gloss) and anthracite (textured) finishes at no extra cost.

Radiator Valves
Radiator valves supplied by SBH Radiators Ltd are manufactured from brass and are chrome plated. Angled valves are usually used when the pipe work for the radiator comes through the wall and straight radiator valves are used when the pipe work for the radiator comes through the floor. more info
Dual Fuel Kits
Dual Fuel kits permit use of radiators when central heating is off.

Electric Only Conversion
The entire SBH range of radiators is offered with an "electric only" conversion option. The radiator is filled with a water based inhibitor and an element of appropriate wattage installed. The radiator is tested at full temperature before being supplied to customers. The radiator arrives ready for installation by a qualified electrician.
All elements heat the contents of the radiator to 80 degrees C, thus providing output in excess of those stated in our literature.
No radiator valves are required with electric only radiators as they cannot be connected to a central heating system.

Element with Temperature Control
Elements with a control knob are available for both full electric radiators and dual fuel kits. The control is a simple manual control (similar to a light dimmer switch), allowing you to alter the temperature of your radiator.

Micro Automatic Radiator Bleed Valve (6mm)
Micro Auto Vents are used to vent unwanted air from a radiator. Air build up occurs over a period of time and collects in high spots of a heating system, (usually a radiator and in most cases, the first radiator after the central heating pump). Automatic bleed valves vent unwanted air from the radiator automatically. A micro auto vents has a life of about 3 years and then needs to be replaced.
